Sunday @ 7

An informal service of worship, songs, prayer and discussion usually held on the first Sunday of the month.

The next Sunday@7 will be at 7pm on 1st March at St Peters, Birkdale.

Food Pantries are popping up in the UK.  Research has found that the Pantries increase people's health and well being, build community and reduce social  isolation. They are for people who are just about managing.

Liverpool Road Methodist Church are looking to establish a Food Pantry on their premises.  Sally Eyes will join us at Sunday@7 at St Peter’s on March 1st, to share the vision of the Food Pantry, tell us how we can help and what the commitment is for volunteers. Please do come, and invite interested friends along to hear more about this worthwhile  enterprise.

Looking ahead to April - we shall be back at St James and Geoff  Topping will be speaking.

We open with a couple of worship songs led by our music group. We then move on to the theme for the night. Over the years we have had a wide range of topics. It may be seasonal like Lent or Advent, or devotional like prayer. We have also had a wide range of visiting speakers covering informative topics such as the Southport Foodbank, Southport Street Pastors, or the work of the Mission Aviation Fellowship.

After a couple more songs we end with refreshments and a chat.

Do come yourself and invite others to join us for what will be an interesting Sunday@7. Refreshments are served after the service.
