Sunday Afternoon Tea
For a good number of people who live alone
Sunday can be the most difficult day of the week. At St James’ we aim to remedy that. In 2014 we held our first Sunday Afternoon Tea for people who live alone. From the people we had contacted eighteen
ladies and two brave men came along to the Lulworth Room in the Church
Hall. One person
said “I only went for ten minutes and stayed until 4pm”. We know that there are many more people who
live alone and you will be most welcome.
The afternoon teas are usually held on the 3rd Sunday of the month in the Welcome Area of the Church from 2.30pm to 4.00pm. Dates for 2020 are:
