Children, Young People and Families Worker

“Hi everyone!! I’m Katherine and I'm the Children, Young People and Families Worker at St James.

At St James our aim is that children feel welcome, included and listened to in a fun and safe environment.  

I was previously Children and Young Families Worker in Skipton, North Yorkshire, and before that I studied Dance and Drama with Design at Edge Hill University.

When I was asked to write a profile about myself, I sent a message to my two best friends asking them what they would write if they were me, and I got identical, simultaneous messages saying they would put “Hi, I’m Katherine and I like  Disney and cheese.” Can’t argue with that!! I also love books (any sort!!), Celtic music (Enya, Clannad etc), crime dramas, and anything crafty!!
